Spring wedding cakes

Hello Frosties,

Bringing to you one of our most popular cakes this month: the dupatta wedding cake. A few months ago, we made a version of this in a 2 tiered design and you guys loved it!

This is a full buttercream cake with a mint green fondant dupatta (to match the bride's outfit!) with flawless pleats & folds, complemented with gold pearls & a gold border. For the rest of the cake, I freehand piped a design with royal icing and then once that dried, painted it gold.

Once wedding season (re)starts, I'm confident this will be a super popular design! It's perfect for smaller, more intimate traditional wedding events like a nikkah, dholki, etc.

Another one of our favourites this month was this fully edible buttercream beauty for a wedding. This is a very versatile design that can be used for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and birthdays. With a plain top tier, the bottom tier pink rosettes paired perfectly along with the fresh roses on top. Lately, I've been opening up the roses and placing them on the cake which makes them look so full & grand, I don't know why I never did this before lol

The piped rosettes have hints of gold to match with the gold ribbon on the top tier as well. Like most of my other piping work, these rosettes were made with the Wilton 1M tip to create this design.

Hope you enjoyed this short blog, we have lots of new content & announcements coming up in the next few months! stay tuned! :) xx
